New
England Divorce Solutions and its partners go "green."
The
partners at New England Divorce Solutions have implemented a totally "green"
initiative in attempts to do its part to be environmentally responsible and to show
leadership in what has been traditionally a paper dominated industry.
With our March announcement, which appropriately
coincides with the traditional St. Patrick's Day holiday, the partners have gone
completely green giving up their automobiles, integrating a fully "paperless"
office and partnering with American Forests the nation's oldest nonprofit conservation
organization whose vision is to have healthy forest ecosystems for every community.
"Our firm is committed to planting 1,000 trees in
2009" says Tracey Manzi, a partner with the firm. For every new client or family law
office that retains New England Divorce Solutions for our consulting and litigation
services, we will plant 50 trees in their name. "It is important to give back and
re-build our forests. The little things we do today can make a world of difference for our
future" adds McNamara.
We have also partnered with ZipCar which has 829 cars
conveniently located in the Boston area. "If we had known how amazing and
cost-effective this service was for city-dwellers, we would have started using it years
ago" adds McNamara.
Our practice is fully committed to being a paperless
office. The American Bar Association estimates the average attorney in a law practice use
one ton of paper per year. We have invested in a sophisticated technology platform and
document management system which allows our practice to be highly efficient, contain costs
and deliver seamless service to our family law partners and is in compliance with the new
Massachusetts 93H rules.
The partner's hope their green initiative is contagious!
"You know you are doing the right thing when saving money simply makes sense,"
says McNamara. To partner with New England Divorce Solutions or to become a client, please
